Day 3. Frankfurt – Prague

After boarding the luxury coach in Frankfurt, sit back and enjoy a scenic ride through some classic German countryside en route to the Czech Republic. Prague, one of Europe’s most ornate cities, is your first destination. You will arrive in the evening, ready to discover this charming capital city with its fairytale architecture, the following morning.

Day 4. Prague – Bratislava

Your Prague adventure begins with a spectacular walk along the Royal Route, following the traditional coronation path of the kings and queens of old Bohemia. You’ll start from the top of Castle Hill in the Hradcany district, famous for its views over the red-roofed old city, and then tour Prague Castle. The castle has been the historic seat of Bohemia royalty since the 9th century, as well as home to the nation’s presidents in recent times. Your exploration then heads off around the imposing gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, St. George’s Basilicaand along Golden Lane, an ancient thoroughfare lined with some wonderful traditional buildings. Later you will stroll across the iconic Charles Bridge, which arches gracefully over the Vltava, and on through the winding alleys to the Old Town Square, where you can see the City Hall and one of Prague’s most well-known sights, the Astronomical Clock. After lunch in the square, you’ll make the scenic transfer from Prague to the Slovakian capital, Bratislava – home to another glorious Old Town. Here you’ll pass through the heart of the city by coach, with views of the magnificent Bratislava Castle and St. Martin´s Cathedral. Day 5. Bratislava – Budapest

Wednesday sees you arrive in Hungary, the fourth country of the tour. Its capital, Budapest, is known as the Pearl of the Danube, and is essentially two different cities joined together: Buda on the west of the river, Pest on the east, each with its own distinct characteristics. One of the best ways of seeing this unique location is by taking a river cruise, which many people choose to do. After a morning of activity, you’ll relax over lunch at Buda Palace, and then have a chance to look at the exhibitions in the Budapest History Museum and Hungarian National Gallery, or do a spot of souvenir shopping. Next you’ll explore both sides of the city on a cultural and historic tour. Highlights on the Buda side of the Danube include the towered terrace of Fisherman’s Bastion, the medieval Matthias Church and a walk up to the summit of Gellért Hill for panoramic views. While over in Pest the sights include the expansive Heroes’ Square and Hungary’s dramatic riverside Parliament Building. In the evening, you can choose to round off an eventful day with an optional dinner in the heart of Budapest, where you can sample traditional dishes such as goose liver, goulash, duck leg and local wine, accompanied by Hungarian folkdance and music. Day 6. Budapest – Vienna

Today starts with a short journey to another of Europe’s grand capitals, Vienna, where you’ll get to explore the Austrian city’s resplendent palaces, striking churches and prestigious art museums. Your Vienna adventure begins at one of the city’s most popular attractions, Schönbrunn Palace, the Rococo-style summer residence of the Habsburg dynasty, rulers of Europe and the Church for many decades. After lunch in this refined setting, you will take a driving tour past many grand, famous buildings, including the City Hall, the Austrian Parliament, Hofburg Palace and Heroes’ Square. In the afternoon, you’ll have some shopping time, before adding the Wiener Staatsoper (opera house) to your checklist of key Vienna buildings. Later, opt for dinner in the heart of the city or visit St. Stephen’s Cathedral, before taking a stroll in Stadtpark, which is known for its range of sculptures, including the famous gilded bronze statue of Johann Strauss II. In the evening, we recommend the option of attending a Viennese waltz concert, which will allow you the unforgettable experience of hearing the music of Mozart and Strauss in the place where it was composed. Day 7. Vienna – Salzburg – Munich

From Vienna it’s on to another Austrian gem, Salzburg. The city’s beautiful historic centre, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, is characterized by numerous baroque buildings, and is one of the most picturesque places in Europe. Salzburg is also famous for its musical heritage, being both the birthplace of Mozart, and also connected with hit musical The Sound of Music. You’ll get the chance to see from the outside the house where Mozart was born, explore the city further at your leisure and also have lunch in Salzburg, before heading across the German border to Munich in the afternoon. Day 8. Munich – Mt Titlis – Lucerne– Zurich

You’ll leave the big cities behind on Saturday morning and head for one of the world’s most famous mountain ranges – the Swiss Alps. The first destination is Engelberg, the stunning Swiss resort. From here you can opt to board a cable car that takes you to the summit of the impressive Mount Titlis. To reach to the top of the permanently snow-covered Mt. Titlis is by a combination of gondolas over 3 stages. You’ll ascend the last stage by the world’s first revolving gondola the Titlis Rotair, that delivers spectacular views of the valleys, glaciers, lakes and forests below, and 360˚ vistas of the surrounding mountains. At the summit the sun terrace is the perfect place to pause and appreciate the breathtaking panoramas. There’s a 150-metre ice cavern through the core of a glacier to explore at the top. Other highlights include walking across Europe’s highest suspension bridge for more phenomenal views from Mt. Titlis. You’ll come down from the hills to the lakeside for your next stop. Lucerne is a picturesque city of bridges and towers located in what many people believe to be the “true” Switzerland – picture-postcard mountains, lakes, cowbells, Alpine villages and meadows full of edelweiss flowers. Here you will have time to wander through the charming streets, and see the famous Lion Monument, which Mark Twain once described as “the most mournful and moving piece of stone in the world”. Day 9. Zurich–Barcelona

Day 10. Barcelona – Valencia – Alicante

After having breakfast at the hotel, we’ll leave Barcelona for Spain’s third largest city, Valencia. Valencia’s history has celebrated as the gateway to the Mediterranean. It’s commercially and culturally rich, with Moorish culture, Arab customs and foods all frequented in a cultural exchange. Such economic trade reformed Valencia to enjoy the prosperity and glory that other cities didn’t achieve. Although today’s Valencia is less prominent, it’s still the important city for large commerce exhibitions and trade fairs to be held in throughout the year. Upon arrival, we will visit Modernisme Plaza of the City Hall of Valencia, Valencia’s Ancient City Gates and Valencia Cathedral, where the true Holy Grail is reserved in. After tour the day is rounded off with a drive into Alicante.

Day 11. Alicante–Granada – Málaga

This morning we depart for the city of Granada on the plateau of the Andalusia province. This historic city has been ruled by Visigoth and Arab. It became the last stronghold for the Arab Dynasty while its eight-hundred-year-long rule in the Iberian Peninsula. In 15th century, King Ferdinand successfully expelled the Arabs and achieved to unite Spain. We will visit the Alhambra, a Moorish citadel and palace, also known as the Red Palace. Once arrived, the Moorish legacy might have caught your eye immediately. Generally referred to as the ‘golden age’ of construction and delicate structure, the dome shape is both stunning and admirable. We proceed on our journey to the Sunny Coast area – Costa del Sol and we go direct to our hotel overnight. Note:Attraction Fee involved: Alhambra Palace of Granada€15.4

Day 12. Málaga – Seville

In the morning we go northbound to the largest city of the autonomous community of Andalusia, Seville. This city was the capital of the Muslim dynasty, considered to be the guardian angel of culture in Andalusia and the birthplace of the flamenco dance. Seville is the primary setting of many operas, the best known of which is Bizet’s Carmen. As the fourth largest city in Spain, it has hosted the World’s Fair in 1992. Upon arrival, we visit Seville Cathedral, the largest Gothic cathedral and the third-largest church in the world. Its completion was back to the early 16th century and now the cathedral halls are dedicated as Royal Chapel, the burial place of the kings’ mausoleum for over a century, also the tomb of Christopher Columbus who discovered the New World as a credit to the great navigator. From there onwards we see the Alcázar of Seville, used to be a Muslim palace and the Spanish Royal Palace. The upper levels of the Alcázar are still used by the royal family as the official Seville residence, which is the oldest royal palace still in use in Europe and was registered in 1987 by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, along with the Seville Cathedral. Then we walk through the Santa Cruz, Torre del Oro (the Tower of Gold) and Maria Luisa Park, here the 1992 World Expo was located. In Plaza de España (Spain Square), we can admire a crafted porcelain painting, detailing the history and elegance of old Spain.

Day 13. Seville – Lisbon

Today we depart for the capital and the largest city of Portugal, Lisbon. We are expected to arrive in Cabo da Roca (Cape Roca) in the afternoon, which forms the westernmost extent of mainland Portugal and continental Europe. The cape displays the voluminous Atlantic surrounded by endless scenery. Don’t forget to buy the remembrance certificate to prove once footstep was on the west point as it will be a memorable souvenir to keep. Later we will be back to the Lisbon city centre and visit Belém Tower and Jerónimos Monastery, both were classified a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Belém Tower played a significant role in the Portuguese maritime discoveries of the era of the Age of Discoveries. Jerónimos Monastery is one of the most prominent examples of the Portuguese Late Gothic Manueline style of architecture in Lisbon. You will pass through Marquis of Pombal Square and then stop at Rossio Square for some free time. Those who are interested in Portuguese custard tarts can taste the authentic ones at the century-old bakery.

Day 14. Lisbon – Toledo – Madrid

Today we will drive back to Madrid via Toledo, a World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO in 1986 for its extensive cultural and monumental heritage. This old city is located on a mountaintop, surrounded on three sides by a bend in the Tagus River, and contains many historical sites. By strolling across the city, overlooking the Alcázar of Toledo and visiting the grand structure of Toledo Cathedral, you will feel the bustling of Spain in the old time. Then take a well-earned rest as you sit back, catch a breath taking landscape of Spain and enjoy its rich palette of colours in natural surroundings while you are on the journey to Madrid.

Day 15. Marid – Zaragoza

We will pass through the Cibeles Fountain, and then arrive and visit Plaza Mayor, Piazza di Spagna, Plaza de Colón and Royal Palace of Madrid. The Royal Palace of Madrid was built by the Spanish Royal Family, showing the magnificent and splendid former empire and its historical grandeur. Then you’ll arrive at the Puerta del Sol, a public square in Madrid. You can find the Km. 0 squared tile placed on the pavement, which represents the Puerta del Sol is the centre of the radial network of Spanish road. In the square, you can shop for speciality leather goods, clothing and traditional Spanish souvenirs in Spain. In the afternoon, we say farewell to Madrid and head to Zaragoza. Day 16. Zaragoza – Barcelona

In the morning we drive directly to the Spanish warm and charming coastal city of Barcelona. After arrival we will visit the Columbus Monument and La Rambla, followed by SagradaFamília, which is a large Roman Catholic church in Barcelona, designed by Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí. Gaudí’s unique colour, fairy tale decoration is throughout the city and makes the place feel like a fantasy in the Artist’s mind. Then it’s on to Camp Nou, a football stadium in Barcelona, which has been also the home of FC Barcelona since its completion in 1957. We’ll also visit EstadiOlímpicLluísCompanys, the main stadium for the 1992 Summer Olympics located in Montjuïc, a large hill to the southwest of Barcelona which overlooks the city views. The remaining time is spent in the bustling Plaza Catalonia, where you can have free time and do some shopping.
